Go beyond perceived limitations.
Connect to the nature of being.
Experience the compassion, wisdom, creativity, and joy inherent to us all.
The 3 Doors offers meditation programs around the world through online courses and in-person retreats. Our programs accommodate those new to meditation and life-long practitioners and range from drop-in practices to immersive study over multiple years. They include core programs, special events, self-paced programs, and practice groups.
We are committed to supporting practitioners in an ongoing process of deepening their meditation practice and creating community. We provide regular opportunities after completion of our programs to practice together and reconnect with teachers and fellow practitioners. Many of these guided sessions are free.
The greatest benefit for me is to become more and more familiar with my humanness, and learning to be kind and appreciative to all those parts.
Because my own practice is deepening, it comes into how I teach mindfulness. Last weekend I did a workshop on cultivating compassion and I could really feel the depth of my own practice supporting how I was able to hold the space.
I found it a very deep and joyful journey. I found so much by going in-depth into the core of my being. It helped me become more alive in every cell of my body.
Now I really learned, from my heart, to accept myself. It has also given me tools to deal with daily thoughts and events.
The Roots of our Practices
Our core meditation practices are rooted in the Dzogchen tradition of Bön Buddhism. Dzogchen means “great completion” and carries the fundamental view that each of us is complete and whole as we are. The 3 Doors teachings and practices are a pathway to recognizing this nature and discovering the compassion, wisdom, creativity, and joy inherent to us all.
