She teaches individuals and groups at 18 Springs, a Community Healing Center that centers social justice. She is also one of the primary organizers and facilitators of an antiracism learning group there.

Temple is the primary care-partner for her mother who is living with Alzheimers. Since her mother’s diagnosis in 2014, she has been engaging with and advocating for people living with Alzheimers and other dementias. Using art-making as a pathway to connection and intimacy, purpose and joy she calls these elders back into the fabric of society by recognizing them as essential members of the community. In fall of 2022 she founded HEART TANK, a new initiative to help improve dementia care that aims to bring new perspectives, new questions and new practices into the field.

In the spring of 2022 Temple completed the 5th North American 3 Doors Academy and became authorized as a Presenter at the end of 2023. Temple is also the editor of the 3 Doors Community Journal.
