Discovering Inner Refuge with Raven Lee
Connecting to Stillness, Silence and Spaciousness Within and Around Us

Access to Changeless Presence
Everything changes, and yet there is something that is constant, changeless within us.
We have all had experiences of deep presence:
- A moment of awe in the natural world
- A sense of wonder in hearing a piece of music
- The warmth of connection with a beloved animal, child, or friend
In these moments, our sense of self is no longer captured by personal stories, reactive emotions, or habitual patterns. Instead there is clarity and an embodied receptivity that is open, strong, and palpable. It’s as if a door has opened and we have access to something deeper that lies at the heart of who we are.
What if this sense of presence was something we could readily access in our everyday lives? What if we could tap into this inner resource in the midst of caring for a child or aging parent, navigating our intimate relationships or the challenges of our work, facing personal sickness or self-doubt, or responding to political upheaval, climate crises, and suffering in the world?
An Introduction to Inner Refuge through the Three Doors
In this interactive 4.5-hour online retreat guided by experienced meditation teacher Raven Lee, you’ll be introduced to The 3 Doors Inner Refuge practice, a profound method from the Tibetan Bön tradition that helps us access our inherent space of open awareness through meditation. The three doors refer to the stillness of body, silence of speech, and spaciousness of mind. Each door provides an opportunity to connect with a vital inner resource—a refuge available to us at any given time.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. This retreat is designed especially for beginners who are curious about the healing power of this simple practice.
In This Retreat, You Will be Guided to:
- Stabilize your focus and rest your attention on the stillness, silence, and spaciousness
- Connect with an inner refuge of resilience and support
- Transform perceived limitations
- Discover inherent qualities of openness, awareness, and warmth
- Live a more authentic and fully expressed life
Coming Home to Your True Self
Raven describes:

“As our connection to inner refuge becomes stable, we begin to realize that our human conditions, feelings, stories, imaginations are not solid—are not who we are.
We experience deep compassion for the suffering that takes place in our human experience. And there is the possibility of liberating ourselves from these imprints, and discovering a freshness of being that is resourceful and open. We come home to who we are.”
