Opening the Door of the Body to Uncover the Essential Self – Feb 2019: Rotterdam & Copenhagen

As we move through life, our body and breath are our closest companions. They are ever-present but often ignored. Our state of being is expressed
through our posture, movement and breath. Through enlivening our awareness of them, we are able to transform the contractions of stress into more
expansive and creative states. In this workshop we will use simple practices to bring meditative awareness to the way habitual, limited identities are reflected in how we sit, move, and breathe. The practices support us to recognize and loosen these identities. This enables us to immerse ourselves more fully in the underlying expanse of our true nature, which is vast, free, and infinitely generative. When we become able to express ourselves from this larger sense of self, we feel vividly present and creatively engaged in everything we do.

Testimonials from Laura’s Previous Courses:

Laura’s class was wonderful. It gave me an experience of body which I have never known before and I am eager to continue the exploration. She is such a wise teacher – her timing is perfect and everything was coordinated perfectly to allow plenty of time for sharing and exploration. I think that she is a special person and I am looking forward to enjoying more classes with her in the future.  Karen C.

I found it a very deep and joyful journey. I want to thank everybody and especially Laura for her way of teaching. So trustful, calm, and effective. I found so much by going in-depth into the core of my being. It helped me become more alive in every cell of my body and more!  Roland Z.

Laura’s clear warmth comes through in a way that allows participants to discover their own.  To discover that afresh each Saturday morning in my living room speaks to the power of practice and the new possibilities that are available when a teacher knows how to guide with a presence gentle enough to allow an exploration and awareness of one’s subtle energies.
